Welcome to Week 2 and our new challenge! This week, wander into your living room and check out your end tables. Are they piled high? Take one (yep, just one) and clear it off. Throw things away, put them into your donation box/bag and replace only those things that you really love.

Tackle it Tuesday! 52 Weeks to a Clean and Organized
House!
House!
WEEK 1: top of the dresser...
I have been procrastinating on my blog for a while...then my friend Katie
started a challenge the "sparked" my interest. Some of the ladies in the group
have posted on
their blogs so I figured..why not! Hopefully it can help me channel my "energies" in all the right places!
Its a new year so why not a new challenge! We can all use motivation and
organization in our lives. Feel free to join me in my new adventure with tackle it Tuesdays!

WOW!!!...what a day. ...mid morning I was told of Farrah Fawcetts' passing. Later in the afternoon...Michael Jackson's. 2 of my Icons growing up....gone forever. what an odd sensation...
I imagine it being like the emotional weekend for my son Billy...when his idol ,Dale Earnhardt Sr. lost his life, even tho that was more sudden and unexpected...or maybe not....I am saddened... for both. You all know that finding a cure for cancer has been on the front of EVERYTHING I do.....poor Farrah never even got to say "yes" to the man that would stand by her through it all. and Michael...the King of pop....to leave just before his comeback.....hummm...king of "POP"...married the only child of the King of "rock and Roll"...Maybe Elvis really wanted to meet him. there has got to be some comfort....some where....no more suffering ...for either of them.
I seriously just don't know what to say.......

Cant believe its been so long since my last post... time sure flies! We had our "Relay for Life" event last weekend and raised over $60,000 to help find a cure for Cancer. it was a very emotional relay for me. We (my sister-in-law & I)started our relay team after my Dad lost his battle with Lung Cancer 5 years ago. Just May 27, my Father-in-law lost his battle. There was a heavy feeling in my heart the whole weekend.....but then again, made me glad to be part of such a terrific event that raises so much awareness and hope. We had special guests added to our team this year. My daughter-in-laws parents and aunt spent the day with us. More Cancer losses... We just need to find a cure.
